A smile says a lot about a person and my grandmother had a lovely smile. The first photo was taken around age 12-13, shortly before she left the Pomfret school - her only school. This was taken about age 80 sitting in the lobby of St. Matthew's church with the many bears that she and her sewing ladies would dress up for children.
Once we had selected the photos and begun to place them in some rough order, I realized that there were several themes. The smile of course is in many, (but not all). See if you can find the threads that stitch these pictures into a quilt.
